Sale agreed within a short space of time
Deco-Furbish carried out a total refurbishment on an old property we planned to sell. My husband was ill at the time and so I had no time to arrange anything, but Deco-Furbish did absolutely everything, which was such a relief. They transformed the property both inside and out, without losing any of its character, going to extra lengths to maintain its unique features. I absolutely could not recommend them more highly. They looked after everything, but kept us informed, and consulted us at every stage. In fact they achieved the difficult balance of updating the house in keeping with modern trends, while preserving its uniqueness. No way could its transformation have been accomplished without Deco-Furbish. Joseph and Marion were able to provide a variety of excellent tradespeople necessary for such an undertaking. So whilst we’ve been gallivanting these past few weeks (epic few weeks btw) we’ve had a company in to repair our external walls, finishing with a re-paint.
We had a builder a few months back to do repairs. We then waited to ensure said repairs had worked.

Interior and Exterior Refurbishment
I had the exterior of my house painted along with a shed and balustrade wall. The Deco Furbish team did an amazing job. Because of the thorough preparation work that was done the finished result is amazing. They arrived each morning on time and got on with their work straight away. During their time here the painters worked efficiently and left no mess when they had finished their work each day. I also had an interior room decorated by Deco Furbish. This room had a Very bad flakey wall. What ever I did over the years to try and remedy this nothing seemed to work. Now the wall looks perfect. The House had Major Cracks...
I would like to thank the Deco-Furbish Painters team for the wonderful transformation of my 1950’s bungalow. The house had major cracks and really looked its age. Exterior after 4 Years still Perfect...
We found Deco-Furbish via our Irish neighbours who had their house painted four years previously. They highly recommended the quality and workmanship of Deco-Furbish, and we witnessed the state of their house exterior after 4 years (still perfect).
We decided to get a quote from Deco-Furbish and after coming by within a few days to view the job, they provided a fixed contract price. The job took them three weeks to complete, with the first 10 days spent purely on very clinical preparation of the surfaces (power wash, filling of all cracks and holes, sanding and grinding irregular concrete and old wood, filling with micro sealer etc.)They then painted with an undercoat sealer and 2 top coats of specialist STO ‘Dynamic System’ paint. All wooden doors, downpipes, window frames and stone window sills were painted in contrasting colours as per our request.
The house looks like it was built yesterday!! Truly a remarkable achievement…Sincere thanks to Joseph & Marion and the Deco-Furbish team (Rory, Damian and David)

It is now 12 months since Deco-Furbish carried out extensive work on our 1930s farmhouse near the coast close to Ballydehob. Because the walls were built of mixed stone, aggregates and slate, we had cracking the outside of the walls and some damp and condensation problems inside the house. The work was carried out very professionally by Deco-Furbish in early 2019. Now in 2020, the outside of the house remains in excellent condition. The opening up and refilling of the numerous cracks, and application of special paints appears to have worked very well, and inside the house the damp staining of walls has disappeared. So I would say this was a job very well done and definitely worth the investment.

Attention to detail was outstanding
Incredible decorators. Deco-Furbish have finished decorating my 250 year old house. (Dining room, hall, stairs and landing) Their attention to detail was outstanding. They must be the most patient men ever, the amount of preparation they had to do, so much sanding and filling!! Then came the painting. Absolute perfection and it included a very laborious job of stripping a huge staircase, painting 3 floors and a huge amount of fiddly windows. Inside and out! Surface defects and long cracks are now invisible...
Inviting Deco-Furbish to paint our 80 year old masonry house was a decision we are extremely happy with. The entire Deco-Furbish team were pleasant to deal with, kept us well informed, were hardworking and very neat. Friends, neighbours and strangers have commented on how the house now looks like new. Many surface defects and long cracks are now invisible, being filled with German made Sto products that allow expansion. Every inch of the exterior was gone over several times beginning with a strong waterblast, then cracks widened and deepened before the progressive layers of fillers and texture, then final coats were applied.
The wall facing the street around our garden was given the same treatment. They even painted our downpipe and original metal gate so the final finish was perfect. We did pay more than we normally would for a house paint, but felt it was more than justified by the superb quality of the refurbishment.

Deco Furbish delivered exactly what they promised. At the start, we were given good advice about colours, types of paint to use. There were several interior wall and woodwork issues to be dealt with (cracks, mapping, wood knots visible through original paint) and we now feel that we have a brand new house! There was really no interruption to our daily living, as the work was carried out during our working day, furniture seemed to not ever have been moved and the turnaround time promised was delivered. The accuracy of the work was outstanding - particularly noticeable where we had built in furniture painted. When the job was finished there was a walk- through with us to ensure that we were happy with the work (even the curtains had been hung back up) and safe to say that all was well. I would have no hesitation to deal with Deco Furbish again and recommend their service to others.

Deco-Furbish have completed work, including restoration and decoration of our property, to a very high standard. Before painting the walls areas of the plaster surface had to be removed and then made good using a hi-tech flexible filling material as technically advised by their representative. This work was carried out to a high professional standard with remarkable cleanliness and attention to detail. Furnishings were carefully moved as needed. Advice was given on suitable colour matches and combinations of subtle shades for each room. Again the whole painting process was carried out with care and attention to cleanliness. The painting team moved and replaced all the furniture as required. The painters were always punctual so we could plan our own time around them. We would certainly have no hesitation in using them again for future projects.

"I found Deco Furbish on an online search of decorators in the area. I called around to different decorators but it was difficult to find someone who could do wallpapering. Deco Furbish answered my call promptly and called out to me the following day to give me a quotation of the job. During the work some problems occurred which were completely unforeseen and most of the time out of our hands. Deco Furbish gave me constant updating on the situation and came up with different solutions on how to solve the problems.
